On Saturday, 2 August, Bahati publicly demonstrated his support for Yvette during a significant milestone: the grand launch of her new barbershop and spa, named Golden Kinsmen.

Located at Lenana Mini Mall in Kilimani, Nairobi, the establishment was unveiled with considerable flair.

The event saw popular comedian Exodus as the MC, with Bahati making a surprise appearance that delighted guests, and most notably, Yvette herself.

Overjoyed by his gesture, Yvette shared a video of Bahati’s performance of his hit song "Adhiambo" on her Instagram Stories, captioning it with a thrilled, “Guess who showed up.”

Bahati also took to his own Instagram page to celebrate the occasion and promote the new business. “Top Shotta. Kinsmen Of Kilimani,” he wrote.

While Bahati’s public show of support for his former partner impressed many, it was a separate moment that truly captivated Kenyans’ hearts: a recent interaction between Bahati’s wife, Diana Marua, and Yvette Obura.

The undeniable cordiality between the two women was prominently displayed during Heaven Bahati’s birthday party, held on Monday, 3 March.

Yvette, who has developed a visibly close bond with Bahati and Diana’s daughter Heaven, was present at the celebration.

Diana was seen in a white and black dress with matching sandals, while Yvette wore a red outfit and white trainers.

Both women appeared relaxed, cheerful, and comfortable in each other’s presence. After a warm embrace, Yvette walked away smiling as Diana addressed her followers, writing, “Of meaningful conversations with Yvette. Heaven’s birthday was nothing but glitz and glamour.”

Despite the attention around her business launch event, Yvette herself has not spoken directly about it on her social media, choosing instead to maintain her usual stream of promotional and influencer content.
