A past video of Tanzanian actress Kajala Frida speaking about her ex-boyfriend Harmonize has surfaced online. 

In a candid interview, she revealed that Harmonize once sent inappropriate photos to her daughter, Paula Kajala.

“He sent those photos to my daughter. That really broke me.” — Kajala.

Though they’ve been apart for some time, Kajala admitted the memory is still painful to revisit.

Why Kajala Left Harmonize

In a past appearance on Mambo Mseto, Kajala shared more about the reasons behind their split.

She said Harmonize took her for granted and seemed to lose respect for their relationship over time.

“Ni mazoea mtu akishakuzoea sana, anakuchukulia poa. Simlaumu, yeye ni kijana mdogo.”

(When someone gets too used to you, they stop valuing you. I don’t blame him — he’s still young.)

Kajala suggested Harmonize may have needed space and maturity to focus on other things in life.

Her Relationship with Paula’s Father, P-Funk Majani

Kajala also spoke about her earlier relationship with music producer P-Funk Majani, the father of her daughter Paula.

Their relationship ended due to misunderstandings and a lack of maturity.

“At that time, I was still young. Even he still had childish minds.”

Despite their separation, Kajala said she's grateful to have raised Paula herself.

“I'm thankful he left Paula for me. We're fine. We cooperate in education.”

Co-parenting and Friendship with P-Funk’s Wife

She, however, revealed that she and the co-parent do not communicate regularly, saying that Paula is usually the one who talks to her father when the need arises.

However, she revealed that she has a very good relationship with P-Funk's current wife and they talk a lot.

"His wife is my partner. We talk a lot. We are really friends. She is good at telling stories and chatting. I may not have spoken to P for several months or years, but we talk to his wife," Kajala said.
