Since last year, singer Alikiba has been rumoured to have been in a relationship with a Tanzanian woman who goes by social media handle Real melanin.

The singer has now confirmed the rumours to be true after he shared a photo of the black beauty as he wished her a happy birthday.

"Happy Birthday Wife," he captioned on Instagram stories with a love emoji.

She describes herself as 'the jewel of the Nile,' brand strategist and entrepreneur.

Previously the Tanzanian music superstar had married Kenyan woman Amina Khalef in April 2018. They held two lavish ceremonie, one in Mombasa, Kenya, and another in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and went on to have two children together.

Amina was rumoued to have filed for divorce from the Tanzanian singer. The two have since kept mum about the issue.

Ali Kiba first captured public attention in 2007 with his breakout hit 'Cinderella' a love song that quickly became a regional anthem across East Africa. The success of “Cinderella” established him as a force in the then-growing bongo flava scene, Tanzania’s modern pop genre.

He followed up with hits like 'Dushele' 'Mapenzo Yanarun Dunia' 'Mwana' 'Aje' among others, solidifying his reputation for crafting timeless, romantic Swahili ballads fused with urban beats. His music resonated beyond borders, winning him a loyal fanbase in Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda.

Despite fierce competition, including a highly publicized rivalry with fellow Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz Ali Kiba’s commitment to his artistry and his authenticity kept him relevant and respected.
