Saba Saba: One reportedly shot dead in Kitengela

A man has reportedly been shot dead in Kitengela, Kajiado county.

The man is said to have been hit by two bullets; one on the neck and another on the chest during the ongoing Saba Saba demonstrations.

He is said to have succumbed to the bullet injuries after he was rushed to a local public hospital located within the Kitengela Township.

"The man was shot on the neck and chest as they engaged police in running battles along the Prison Road. He was pronounced dead at a hospital where he had been rushed," a source told the Star.

Another man reportedly sustained a bullet wound after he was shot in the leg during the protests.

He is said to have been rushed to the same hospital.
