Tanzanian R&B sensation Juma Jux thrilled guests with a soulful performance at a high-profile pre-wedding ceremony in Karen, Nairobi, held on Saturday, June 21.
The exclusive engagement was attended by none other than Kenya’s President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto, making it a grand affair infused with music, love, and political heavyweights.
Jux, who was accompanied by his wife, Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, was the evening’s musical highlight, delivering a heartwarming set that left a lasting impression on the distinguished crowd.

The couple had flown into Nairobi specifically for the event, which celebrated the upcoming union between Brian Belio, son of Immigration Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang, and Nicole Langat, daughter of billionaire businessman Dr. David Langat.
Following his performance, Jux expressed his gratitude on social media, writing:
“Honored to perform at a beautiful VIP engagement in Nairobi, in the presence of H.E. the President of Kenya. Beyond the music, I gained a new family—humble, kind, and full of love. Asanteni sana for the warm welcome and unforgettable memories. Congratulations Dr. David (DL) and Hellen Langat for celebrating the engagement of their daughter, Eng. Nicole.”
The performance also offered the singer a special moment to meet and interact with President Ruto, a gesture that further elevated the prestige of the evening.

Among the prominent guests in attendance were:
Head of Public Service Felix Koskei
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen
Treasury Principal Secretary Chris Kiptoo
Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi
