British pop star Dua Lipa has officially confirmed her engagement to actor Callum Turner, describing the moment as “a really special feeling” during a new interview with British Vogue.
The 29-year-old Grammy winner has been in a relationship with Turner, 35, for nearly a year and a half.
Turner, a London-born actor, is widely recognised for his performances in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Masters of the Air, and his critically acclaimed role in BBC One’s The Capture, which earned him a BAFTA nomination in 2020.
“Yeah, we’re engaged,” Lipa told Vogue. “It’s very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever — it’s a really special feeling.”
Engagement rumours first began swirling last Christmas after the singer posted a festive photo wearing what appeared to be a diamond ring.

Lipa has now revealed that the bespoke ring was a personal gift from Turner, who designed it after consulting with her sister and closest friends to ensure it would reflect her unique style.
“It’s so me,” she shared. “It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
Despite the exciting news, the couple has not yet set a wedding date. Lipa is currently in the middle of her global tour promoting her latest album Radical Optimism, which is set to wrap up in Mexico in December.
Meanwhile, Turner is immersed in filming the Apple TV+ adaptation of William Gibson’s influential sci-fi novel Neuromancer, in which he plays the lead role.
For now, Lipa says they are savouring the moment: “We’re just enjoying this period. I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I’m like, ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”
