Nigeria is witnessing one of its most explosive celebrity clashes of the year, as actress Regina Daniels publicly accused fellow actress Angela Okorie of attempting to pursue her husband, billionaire and businessman Ned Nwoko.
DanielsDaniels’ accusation came in a series of sharply worded Instagram posts that left fans and industry observers stunned.
Without alluding to any concrete evidence, Daniels claimed that Okorie had once expressed romantic interest in Nwoko, a man often criticized for his significant age gap with Daniels and his polygamous lifestyle.
“Don’t get me started on telling the world how you were chasing this same old man,” she wrote in a pointed message that has since gone viral. The statement quickly triggered widespread debate across social media platforms, with followers speculating about the alleged past interest and questioning the motivation behind the public fallout.
Adding fuel to the fire, Daniels followed up with even more direct remarks:
“He is everything your kind prays for but can’t attract… Now let your age reflect your reasoning. Clearly, you failed because a girl that once admired you when she was six sees you as nothing to write home about.”
Daniels, who has largely remained private about her marriage despite public scrutiny, appears to have adopted a more confrontational tone in her recent posts. Traditionally known for her composed public image, this shift suggests a deeper personal rift with Okorie.
The feud escalated further when Daniels referenced Okorie’s early career struggles, suggesting she lacked confidence and required support during her first film role, a role Daniels claims she helped guide her through.
Despite the strong claims, Daniels has not presented any evidence to substantiate the allegation that Okorie tried to pursue Nwoko. Angela Okorie has yet to issue a public response.
While opinions among fans remain divided, some praising Daniels for speaking her truth, others criticizing the lack of proof, the incident has undeniably reignited conversations about relationships, rivalry, and reputation in the Nollywood industry.
