Popular streamer and YouTuber Denzel Shaquille, better known as Duke Dennis, has addressed claims that he is a father after widespread speculation online.
This comes after photos of his child’s mother began circulating on social media, prompting intense discussion among fans.
Dennis initially denied rumours about having children, explaining that his decision was rooted in a desire to protect both the child and the mother from online hate and harassment.
“The internet is not always a safe place,” he implied, noting the toxicity often directed at public figures and their families.
Streamer Darcii later confirmed the allegations, alleging that Dennis is indeed the father of her child. However, she claimed that he is not actively involved in their lives.
“Yes, I have a son with Duke Dennis,” she alleged in a social media post. “Life goes on though. I don’t want to keep talking about it. I don’t want people in my business for real, but my son exists, and he is very much his son.”
The revelation added fuel to a separate online rumour that spiralled over the weekend, suggesting that Dennis had fathered as many as eight children.
The claim quickly spread across social media platforms, though no credible source could be traced.
Dennis addressed the viral rumour head-on, firmly denying the allegation. “I do not have eight kids,” he stated clearly.
He also emphasised that even if he did have more children, the public would never know. “That’s not a part of my life I ever want to share,” he said.
He went on to stress the importance of privacy, particularly in an era where internet culture often blurs the boundaries between public and personal lives.
“I wouldn’t even post a girlfriend,” Dennis explained. “People online play games. There’s a complete lack of respect for privacy, and I’m not feeding into that.”
While some fans expressed disappointment over the lack of details, Dennis made it clear that public opinion doesn’t influence his personal choices.
“People make up stories just to get a reaction,” he said, brushing off the controversy.
