Kenyan celebrity couple Bahati and Diana Marua are set to exchange vows later this year, marking a significant milestone after nine years together.
Known affectionately as The Bahatis, the couple has captured the hearts of fans with their music, reality TV presence, and vibrant social media content.
Their upcoming wedding, dubbed #TheBahatisBigDay, promises to be a grand celebration, inspired by the lavish nuptials of Tanzanian artist Juma Jux and his Nigerian bride, Priscilla Ajoke, which the couple attended in Tanzania.
Upon returning to Kenya, Bahati took to social media to express how Jux’s wedding set a high standard for love and commitment.
In a heartfelt post, he wrote, “Dear my lovely wife, Diana Marua, I know it’s been a long wait for our wedding. Next year, we’ll celebrate 10 years together. It may feel like a long time, but don’t worry—#TheBahatisBigDay will be worth the wait.”
He praised Jux’s wedding as a lesson in honouring one’s partner, adding, “The African Boy has made East Africa proud. Congratulations, my brother @Juma_Jux and the beautiful @its.priscy. I can confirm I’m next!”

Bahati, and Diana, have built a strong brand together, often sharing glimpses of their family life with their children—Heaven, Majesty, and Morgan (Bahati’s adopted son).
In a recent interview with Mpasho’s Kalondu Musyimi, Diana Marua confirmed that wedding preparations are in full swing.
“The buzz around it shows we’re planning something big. You only do a wedding once, and I want mine to be the ‘it’ wedding,” she told Musyimi.
Diana hinted at a budget in the millions, emphasising her desire for a glamorous event. “If something is exceptional, you give it credit. I’m taking notes from other weddings, but mine will be uniquely mine,” she said.
She added, “I’m planning this to make myself happy, not to please others. It will be special and glamorous.”
The Bahatis’ wedding is expected to draw significant attention, with fans speculating about celebrity guests, high-end fashion, and performances, given their connections in the entertainment industry.
