President William Ruto has donated food and mattresses to residents of Kibra following a fire that razed their houses.

Ruto donated the items after attending a church service at AIC Kibra.

The President assured the victims of full government support, including compensation for those affected. 

He stated that no one will be left out in the exercise.

During the fire in the Makina area, eight people are said to have been killed.

Police said at least 20 others were left with serious injuries.
