KIMC advertises 9 job slots, encourages PWDs to apply

The Kenya Institute of Mass Communication has advertised nine job slots ranging from senior deputy director to cook.

The Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) is Kenya's premier public media training institution established in 1961.

Currently a state cooperation, the institute offers training in Postgraduate, Diploma and Certificate levels in Communication and Cinematic Arts.

In a public notice, the Director said the institution is looking to hire nine new employees across various job groups.

The institution is looking for one person for each of the open vacancies.

The open positions are: Senior Deputy Director (Academic Affairs). The successful applicant will be hired on a five-year contract.

Human Resource Management & Development Officer I (Ref No. KIMC/HRMO/2/05/2025).

Accountant II (Ref No. KIMC/ACC/3/05/2025).

Chef II (Ref No. KIMC/CF/4/05/2025).

Assistant Office Administrator III (Ref No. KIMC/AOA/5/05/2025).

Electrical/Electronic Technician III (Ref No. KIMC/ET/6/05/2025).

Technical Instructor III (Ref No. KIMC/TI/7/05/2025).

Cook III (Ref No. KIMC/CK/8/05/2025).

Driver III (Ref No. KIMC/DR/9/05/2025).

The director invited applications from qualified and experienced persons to fill the vacant positions.

"The closing date is on June 3, 2025 at 5pm. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted," the director said.
