Kenyan socialite Stephanie Ngunjiri, 21, recently appeared on Morin Actress’s podcast, where she opened up about her past relationship with a Kenyan Prince.
In the candid interview, Stephanie admitted that she was initially hesitant about the relationship due to her aversion to the limelight.
“I don’t like being in the spotlight,” she said, recalling her reluctance to go public. However, her life took a dramatic turn when a photo of her with the Kenyan Prince was posted online, thrusting her into the public eye.
“I cried a lot when I found out the picture was posted, but eventually, I accepted it,” she said.
How They Met
Stephanie revealed that she first met Prince at the Arbantone Festival, where they got to know each other. Addressing rumours about Prince’s business dealings, she defended him, saying:
“I’ve heard people say what he does is a scam, but I got to know him personally. The work he does is very legitimate,” she stated.
Despite their breakup, Stephanie had nothing but praise for her ex. “I’m not a bitter ex. We never clout-chased, and our breakup isn’t for clout,” she clarified.

Facing Criticism and Misconceptions
Stephanie addressed the backlash she received during their relationship, particularly from those who claimed she was weak or lacked a voice.
“Haters usually incite each other, bringing unnecessary negativity. People said I was weak and had no say in the relationship, but he always listened to me and considered my opinions,” she said, insisting that their relationship was built on mutual respect.
Stephanie also addressed misconceptions that she was in the relationship for financial gain.
“I was genuinely in the relationship for love, not for money,” she said.
She added that the Kenyan Prince made her feel seen and valued, particularly as someone who identifies as an introvert.
“He made me feel seen, and that meant a lot,” she said, stressing that she has never cheated or flirted with anyone else while in the relationship.

Moving Forward
Reflecting on her life post-breakup, Stephanie said she is now focused on building her own brand and identity.
“I want to work on myself and establish my own brand because people only knew me as the Kenyan Prince’s girlfriend,” she said.
Stephanie concluded by stating that she is not willing to forgive or condone cheating, firmly drawing a line against disloyalty.
