Notable politicians gunned down in Kenya

The Director of Criminal Investigations now says that detectives have narrowed down to potential suspects in the gruesome murder of Kasipul MP Ongóndo Were.

In a statement on Friday, the DCI said this followed a thorough examination and reconstruction of the MP's last moments from Parliament to where he was shot dead.

The sleuths said they now have significant leads on who the perpetrators of the heinous act could be and are pursuing all possible angles.
