Influencer and Instagram model Agnes Kibanja has confirmed she is no longer married, only four months after tying the knot in what was widely described as one of the most glamorous traditional weddings of 2024.
Kibanja, who stunned the internet with her stunning West African-inspired attire during the lavish ruracio ceremony with businessman Rojadhat, has now taken to Instagram Stories to confirm the split, leaving many fans and followers shocked and curious.
While she didn’t hold back on addressing the situation, much remains unsaid—though her tone and the hints dropped across various posts have painted a rather telling picture.
In a series of now-viral Instagram Stories, the socialite opened up—albeit cryptically—about what led to the end of her marriage.

While she didn’t go into full detail, Kibanja suggested there had been betrayal as one of the final straws.
"Imagine having someone who loves you, who is ultimately perfect, and you still can't be satisfied. You will always rot. You will always lose. That will forever be your downfall," she reposted from X, leaving many to speculate who exactly she was referring to.
Another post read: "Please stop associating my name with people who are dead to me. Thank you." She also quipped that “not even a ring should ever convince you” when “men hate you.”
The messages came across as personal reflections, perhaps even disillusionment with the romantic ideal she once held. Though never explicitly naming her ex, the context was loud enough for her audience.
The couple's traditional wedding, held in December 2024, had been the talk of town. Attended by public figures and blessed with opulence, the ceremony was nothing short of a fairytale.
Kibanja looked radiant in a fully beaded custom gown, reportedly one of the most expensive bridal outfits in recent celebrity history.
The event, complete with a Rolls Royce Cullinan as their bridal car and luxurious décor, was praised across social media for its beauty and elegance.
Her mother, Jedidah Wairimu Kiplenge, had proudly celebrated the union at the time, writing a heartfelt message thanking God for blessing her family.

But behind the scenes, it now appears that all was not well. The silence that followed the wedding from Kibanja herself—no posts or affectionate captions—now seems more telling in hindsight.
Kibanja’s previous cryptic messages in August 2024, months before the wedding, may have hinted at a rocky path ahead.
At the time, she posted what many interpreted as signs of a relationship under strain, though followers had dismissed it as a fleeting lovers’ quarrel.
Her return to social media with news of an engagement shortly after those posts only added to the confusion.
Now, fans are rallying behind the young model, applauding her for choosing peace over pretense. One follower commented, "Every beautiful woman I know always has the guts to walk away. I’m glad she left—she knows her worth."
Others, however, have been quick to remind everyone that social media only shows a polished version of reality.
