A fraudster caught and questioned in the saga allegedly mentioned the official as his sponsor. Unsure, the team has sought the advice of their boss on the way forward and the boss is consulting widely. It’s not clear if the said official was involved in the fraud.

A recent merger of two political outfits might have reportedly caused more disgruntlement than one of the party owners expected.
