Nana Dollz Scandal: Tanzanian Model's Tearful Side of the Story on Alleged Romance with Wealthy Kenyan Politician

Tanzanian model and social media personality Nasma Hassan Athumani aka Nana Dollz has broken her silence in a tearful interview, addressing swirling rumours about her alleged relationship with a high-profile Kenyan politician.

The emotional footage, shared with Tanzanian outlet Carrymastory, shows the influencer visibly distressed as she defends her reputation against accusations of infidelity and gold-digging.

"I Never Cheated"

Clutching tissues during the candid conversation, Nana insisted she had never been unfaithful, whether to her former partner or the unnamed politician at the centre of recent speculation.

 "I have never been with any other man since I started dating him," she asserted, her voice breaking. "It was the same with my baby daddy – I never cheated."

The influencer revealed she met the Kenyan lawmaker after her previous relationship ended, stressing he was already separated from his wife at the time.

She dismissed claims linking her to other men, including one alleged benefactor: "The muhindi guy they say built things for me? I've never even shaken his hand."

The Backstory Behind the Drama

The controversy erupted when Tanzanian blogger Mange Kimambi shared photos purportedly showing Nana in the politician's home, wearing his clothes.

Kimambi accused the model of pursuing wealthy men to fund luxury projects – including a mansion and swimming pool – claims Nana vehemently denies.

In an earlier open letter, the influencer had struck a defiant tone: "This socialite has the right to love whoever she wants... My relationship doesn’t have to make sense to anyone except us." 

She described herself as "smart, educated, hardworking and God-fearing" while accusing critics of hypocrisy: "Some of you are worse in real life but busy shaming good people."

The Emotional Toll

During the interview, Nana became tearful discussing the public scrutiny. "People ask him why he's dating someone like me... It becomes overwhelming," she confessed, revealing the politician had advised against addressing rumours publicly. "He said I owe no one explanations, but staying silent while lies spread felt wrong."

The model also questioned how Kimambi obtained private details, asking: "How did she go to someone else’s home?" – suggesting the blogger may have trespassed to gather evidence.

Mixed Reactions from Netizens

Online commentary has been divided. Some dismissed Nana's tears as manipulation ("Crocodile tears... we know these tricks," tweeted one sceptic), while others criticised her decision to speak out ("Why explain if you owe no explanation?").
