Celebrated hip-hop and lyrical sensation, COLLO, is set to perform alongside Razini, an emerging songwriter, singer and rapper , MC Riziki and DJ McLaren  at the Beats & Deals Street Storm in collaboration with Distinct Sound Master, scheduled April 5th 2024.

Street performance is set to begin from 5pm, where Collo will make a special appearance, performing his latest jams from the recently released e.p., D.E.P Vol. 1 (Dope).

Razini first performed with Collo during the Fanisi Experiment Show at Geco Cafe in October 2023. Since then Collo has been mentoring Razini in music and its business.

The two are prepared to give an epic and memorable show, aiming to replicate a moment in the Tuendele cypher track from one of Kenya’s most celebrated tracks of all time.

COLLO first gained prominence in the industry with the award-winning group Kleptomaniax, before venturing into a successful solo career and collaborations with other renowned artists. His chart-toppers include hits like "You Guy" with P-Unit, "Party Don’t Stop" with Camp Mulla, and "Bazokizo" with Bruz Newton.

As he promotes the new body of work and teaser for his upcoming project, COLLO, often hailed as the ‘king of rap’ expressed that, “ Hip Hop is undeniably the world’s most influential cultures and musical genres of our time. It's now 50 years plus and what next as I celebrate 20 plus years in the recording industry?”

The milestone is musically packaged in the extended play, D.E.P. Vols 1, 2, and Vol.3, which is inspired by COLLO’s original name at the start of his career. The abbreviation stands for Dope-Expressive-Priceles. It iss A special gift to his fans and also a reintroduction of his work to a fresh audience.

Beyond his musical accomplishments, COLLO has found success in various media and entertainment sectors, including roles as a radio and TV presenter and copywriter in advertising.

The team produced a listening party that was held at Mageuzi Hub in Kilimani last year on October 26th, 2024, and anticipates more special appearances and live performances, rehearsal,s and studio sessions with bespoke hangouts.

Scaling the musical experience is work in progress ahead of a possible album to be released in August 2025.
