Taking to her Instagram stories, Achieng documented her experience on the Caribbean island, where she participated in a high-end beauty campaign.
Among the highlights were stunning snapshots of her interacting with Rihanna—taking selfies, posing in stylish outfits, and sharing warm embraces.
One of the most memorable moments came when Achieng hugged the Diamonds hitmaker, both beaming with joy for the cameras.
The experience was so surreal that she later shared a chat where someone playfully asked, “Sis, are you in love?” to which she excitedly responded, “Duh, I’m with Rihanna!”
Beyond her star-struck encounter, Achieng made the most of her time in Barbados—soaking up the sun on pristine beaches, enjoying breathtaking scenery, and indulging in exquisite cuisine.
She also posted clips of herself dancing to live jazz music and going on boat rides with friends.

Agutu’s Rise to Success
Achieng first gained global recognition in 2021 when she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she revealed the sacrifices her family made for her education and the hard work she put in to succeed.
Originally from Kenya, Achieng moved to the United States for higher education. However, financing her studies was a challenge, with her family selling land and taking loans to support her.
Determined to make the most of the opportunity, she juggled six jobs to sustain herself.
"I work one full-time job as an admissions counselor at Holy Cross College. I also babysit for two families, wash cars, clean houses, drive Uber, and teach English to international students," she told host Ellen DeGeneres.
During the interview, she shared how she mastered English by listening to music and studying song lyrics from artists featured on Ellen’s show.
Achieng had not seen her family in two years as they were living in Kenya and South Africa. In an emotional surprise, her parents and brother joined her live on stage, leading to a heartfelt reunion.

The moment became even more special when Ellen invited them to play a game where they had to pick a card with hidden prize amounts.
In a stroke of luck, Achieng and her family won $50,000 (approximately KSh 5 million).
