Those aware of the sudden change say the man appears to be disturbed by a huge matter and he could be hiding behind the brown bottle for temporary relief.

A COUNTY CHIEF in Western has allegedly panicked about the activities of a lawmaker whose popularity is said to have skyrocketed overnight. The big man now reportedly spends a lot of time discussing the lawmaker in meetings and social media platforms. The fellow is said to have gone slow on two other senior politicians he initially targeted for fighting his administration. IT SEEMS AN order to pounce on bribe-taking traffic officers has raised fears among the cops. Traffic officers who allegedly used to position themselves at key stations on Nairobi roads where they would collect as little as Sh50 per matatu have been conspicuously missing. And where present, they direct traffic at the roundabouts. Maybe he should also focus on the police stations and weekend swoops mainly in Eastlands, where officers supposedly collect bribes upon arrest on flimsy grounds.

Insiders suggest despite warnings from the party’s top echelons, the MP is adamant and is banking on support from rival factions and disgruntled colleagues who also supposedly missed out in recent promotions.
