The clip, which was part of a bread commercial, sparked outrage online, with many accusing Kibe of making inappropriate comments toward the young woman.
However, in his signature brash style, Kibe dismissed the backlash, claiming he had done nothing wrong.
During a recent live session, Kibe lashed out at his detractors, particularly food content creator Dennis Ombachi, also known as the Roaming Chef, who had openly criticized him.
“Even if she is 19, when I asked her how old she was, she said she was 32. When I do my math, 48 minus 32 comes to what? I don’t know, but it is good math,” Kibe said, seemingly mocking those who suggested he was too old to interact with Boina.
He further ridiculed those who called him out for flirting with her, sarcastically asking whether they had daddy issues.
"I saw some other people saying that he’s so old for her. Your father is old. Go to your dad and tell him to stop hitting on the mboch," he ranted.
Kibe then took a swipe at Ombachi, implying that his criticism was unnecessary.
"You riled up people online for what? Boina is attractive, I’m attractive, we’re having a good time," he declared.

The Incident That Sparked Outrage
The controversy stems from a bread ad collaboration between Kibe and Boina, which quickly turned into an uncomfortable exchange.
As Boina demonstrated a bread recipe, Kibe made suggestive comments, comparing her to fellow beauty influencer Phoina.
"Boina, is it Boina? The other one is called Phoina. You are more popular than the other one, eh?" Kibe remarked.
Boina, remaining composed, praised Phoina and stressed that they were two different people.
"There’s Boina and there’s Phoina. Those are two different people. She’s richer. Financially, she’s loaded…" Boina explained.
Kibe, however, cut in.

"And you in spirit?" he prodded.
Boina responded, “In spirit, I’m loaded. I’m yet to get there financially.”
The conversation took an even more awkward turn when Kibe bluntly asked who was more physically attractive.
"Body-wise, nani ameosha mwingine? I hadn’t seen your body. I think…" he probed.
A visibly uncomfortable Boina hesitated before responding.
"Now guys, I don’t know about Phoina, I feel like she’s peng… Proper. But…" she stammered.
Kibe, unimpressed with her answer, scoffed.
"That’s the problem with women, you can never admit a fact! Let’s get back to the food!" he concluded.
Public Backlash
The clip sparked a massive debate online, with many branding Kibe’s remarks as sexist and unprofessional. Food creator Dennis Ombachi was among those who condemned the interaction.
"Every parent with a daughter’s fear is men like Kibe. And you don’t have to raise daughters to understand this, it’s basic moral instincts," Ombachi tweeted.

Other social media users joined in, calling out both Kibe and the brand that sponsored the content.
Silence from the Involved Parties
Despite the storm of criticism, Boina has still not publicly addressed the issue beyond Kibe’s rant. The brand behind the advertisement has also remained silent, leaving the debate to rage on across social media.
