Bahati and Diana Marua Finally Reveal Wedding Date

The couple, who recently celebrated their eighth anniversary, shared the exciting news during a lavish event at a high-end Nairobi restaurant.

“We are doing our wedding on October 28, 2025. That’s confirmed. The reason we chose that date and month is because it is our anniversary date and month,” Bahati revealed.

The announcement comes just days after Bahati proposed to Diana for the second time in their relationship. The romantic proposal, which left Diana in tears, featured a heart-shaped floral arrangement, candles, a serenade, and luxurious jewelry.

During the proposal dinner, Diana expressed her desire for a grand wedding where she could invite as many guests as possible to celebrate their love. Bahati assured her that their wedding plans were underway and even hinted at a possible date.

However, the couple’s journey to the altar has been anything but straightforward. Over the years, Bahati and Diana have postponed their wedding multiple times, leaving fans eagerly waiting.

In November 2024, Bahati reignited excitement with a cryptic Instagram post, teasing the official wedding date as the 22nd but leaving fans to guess the month.

“The Bahati’s historic wedding ? official date 22nd... Guess the month?” he wrote.

This playful hint came after a series of delays and shifting timelines. In June 2023, Bahati first announced that they would wed on December 12, 2023, but the plans fell through.

Later, the couple rescheduled the wedding to October 2024, aligning with their anniversary month. However, in a September 2023 interview, Bahati admitted that the plans were still uncertain, largely due to Diana’s indecision.

“We had planned our wedding for October 20, which is our anniversary day. But now Diana has been postponing every day. It’s not me anymore,” Bahati shared candidly.

Despite the delays, the couple’s love story has remained strong. They have been together for over seven years and are proud parents to five children: three biological kids, an adopted son, and Bahati’s daughter from a previous relationship. Bahati also paid Diana’s dowry in a traditional ceremony in June 2023, solidifying their commitment.

According to the couple, the wedding delays stem from their evolving priorities and Diana’s desire to ensure everything is perfect.

Bahati revealed that while he has been eager to set dates, Diana has been more cautious, wanting everything to align before taking the next step.

“It’s not me anymore. Diana has been postponing every day,” Bahati explained in a previous interview.

In addition to raising their children, the couple has been juggling demanding careers, which has made finding the right time for a wedding challenging.
