The group included Triza’s parents, Margaret Wambui and Ngugi, who made a heartfelt appeal to their daughter, urging her to return to her matrimonial home.
"Tunataka arudi nyumbani," her mother said, asking her to come back. Triza’s godfather, Joseph Wanyoike, who acted as the spokesperson for her family, explained that they had agreed to keep the matter private and resolve it without involving social media.
He encouraged Triza to answer her phone and come home for further discussions.

However, some people online were not impressed by the situation, expressing their opinions about how Triza’s parents were being exposed on social media.
Many felt it was wrong to parade family members for public attention, with one commenter pointing out that it seemed like the parents were being used for social media content rather than focusing on the real issues at hand.
Others supported Triza, saying that only she truly understood what was happening in her marriage and that the decision should be hers alone.
Some of the comments are below:

I have not seen family members from karangu side, why parade the trizah family with the presiding brokers. This is a drama.
The tension between Karangu and Triza began several weeks ago when Karangu revealed that he was a polygamist, admitting to marrying a second wife, Carol Kim.

This disclosure caused a stir, as Triza, who had been married to Karangu for many years, accused him of abandoning her and their two children after moving in with Carol.
In a tearful TikTok live session, Triza shared her side of the story, claiming that Karangu had left her behind in their rural home while he enjoyed a new, lavish lifestyle with Carol.
She accused Carol of insulting her and spoke about the extravagant gifts Karangu had bought for his second wife, including a new car and phone, and even built her a house in an upscale neighborhood in Nairobi.
Triza also claimed that Karangu neglected her needs, such as not replacing her broken phone and not being present in their relationship.
She explained that she could no longer pretend everything was fine and planned to leave, but she requested that boundaries be set to protect their children.

Carol Kim, however, denied the accusations, saying she had never interacted with Triza directly and that the attacks on her were unfair.
In the midst of all this, Karangu has remained largely silent about the allegations but has suggested that a family meeting could help resolve the issues.
Triza, however, rejected this idea, saying that Karangu never involved anyone when marrying Carol and that it was too late for a family discussion now.
Despite the public scrutiny, Triza received strong support from her followers, with over Sh1 million raised to assist her.
