This is How Much Dowry Was Paid For Hamisa Mobetto

Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobetto has been the talk of Tanzanian media after she tied the knot with footballer Aziz Ki. 

The Ivory Coast footballer plays for Tanzanian team, Yanga FC.

Speaking to the media, Hamisa's mother revealed that Aziz paid about 150 cows for the dowry.

"I think we have all seen the cows that were brought in. I agreed with him that I only wanted cows. I agreed with him to bring 150 cows that are big."

She added "He also paid an amount of money that I cannot say."

"Adding to that according to our traditions, he brought a big sufuria, about 100Kgs, goats for the mother and father, Jembes and other things."

Mama Hamisa said that her son-in-law told her that he would like to invest in Tanzania.

"He has already purchased land because he wants to build companies here. He has loved it here and even if his football contract ends, he will still be here because he feels at home."

Meanwhile, the mother to the Aziz Ki has not approved of her son's wedding to Hamisa Mobetto as she was absent from the two wedding ceremonies that have already been held.

The footballer's mother, Anata Ki said she was informed of her son's wedding last minute and requested that the nuptials be postponed to allow her time to plan her visit to Tanzania.

She also questioned why Hamisa would want to get married to a man without knowing his family first.

She also took a jab at Yanga FC's president Hersi for allegedly standing in as the footballer's parents during the wedding.

“As a family, we were not informed about this wedding with this young man named Hersi. He is a great liar before God. Hersi, let me tell you something, you are not the person to prepare my son's wedding. You are just a poor leader who wants, with fire, with blood, to keep this young man in Tanzania." She wrote

“You can arrange your wedding for her if she is happy, Alhamdulillah... But don't say something that is not true...You are spending your life on lies. That's why you shouldn't involve this precious family in your nonsense, right?

“How can I just give you permission to have a wedding without me? How come? How can a girl want a man and get married without trying to know the family? It was about a contract, a job, and football - that's it.

Mobetto and Aziz Ki's final wedding ceremony will happen on Wednesday 19th February.
