Kindiki said that the government is on track in its plan to create jobs for the people of Kenya.
He said going forward the government will be providing progress reports on how many jobs the digital space is providing to Kenyans under the Kenya Kwanza administration.
“We are creating jobs through a two-pronged approach. In the Kazi Kwa Ground programme which focuses on the public sector; in the housing programme, the construction sector and others and also enabling the private sector to have more openings.
“We are also investing in jobs creation in the digital space through Kazi mtandaoni through ICT hubs, content creation and business outsourcing,” Kindiki said.
The meeting was attended by senior advisors to the President, Principal Secretaries and Departmental heads among other officials.
