Insider reveals Annie Ibidia’s struggles, Lectures 2Face

Renowned Nigerian TV and Radio Personality Toke Makinwa has vowed to fight for her close friend Annie Idibia amid 2Face’s controversial divorce announcement.

In a statement posted on her social media, the actress, who also works as a YouTuber, said that 2Face is well aware of what is going on behind the scenes but opted to share the separation news.

Makinwa blasted 2Face, stating that while she supports individuals leaving unhealthy relationships, the singer’s timing was inappropriate.

 “Nobody is asking anybody to stay in a situation that's not serving them any purpose anymore. By all means, leave if you must, but why bring this online at this very moment?

“We know what is going on behind closed doors, The world doesn't know anything, it's already been hectic with opinions flying around and when I say we will fight for her I'm not talking about the general public,” Toke Makinwa said.

She went on to mention that there is more to the story than what meets the eye and 2Face should have refrained from sharing the news online.

“A handful of people know the truth and time will tell. Timing is everything, empathy is everything, You constantly preach love, you cannot add to the narrative that's out there when you know what is really happening behind closed,” she added.

Recently the couple has been on the receiving end of public scrutiny over issues revolving around their marriage.

Actress Toke Makinwa is a Nigerian radio personality, television host, vlogger, lifestyle entrepreneur, actress, and author. Makinwa is known for hosting The Late Morning Show on Rhythm 93.7 FM and for her YouTube vlog series Toke Moments.

2Face and Annie’s Divorce Saga

2Face’s announcement of separation from wife Annie has exposed the couple to public scrutiny.

Insiders from Annie’s camp allege that the actress is currently in Rehab battling several issues. They have also alleged that actress Toke Makinwa and singer Tiwa Savage are the ones taking care of her – trying to make sure that she is well.

This probably explains why Toke was mad at 2Face for sharing the alleged divorce with Annie online.

On Sunday Night, 2Face Idibia shared that he and Annie have been separated for a while.

“I and Annie Macaulay have been separated for a while now. Well, this thing I have to say is short but also long. I and Annie Macaulay have been separated for a while now. And we have currently filed for divorce,”.

“I would grant a press release soon to say my story.. not because it is anyone’s right to know about my personal life; but because I love my people and I need them to know my innocence or offense. Stay blessed my people. I love you all,” 2Face added in his statement.

2Face Idibia and Annie have been in a rocky marriage for a while now with infidelity allegations being labeled against 2Face.
