The 50-year-old, whose net worth is estimated at £133 million (Ksh21.2 billion), is in the midst of a high-profile split from his wife of over 15 years, Mariana Luccon.
The couple, who married in 2009, share two daughters, Manuela and Marina. Despite maintaining a relatively low profile during their marriage, Luccon occasionally appeared in public with Carlos and their children, including at high-profile events and Nike campaigns.
However, according to Estadio Deportivo and Spanish TV show Fiesta, the pair have separated, with reports suggesting that a legal battle over Carlos' substantial wealth has ensued.

Adding to the drama, it was alleged that Carlos had moved to Real Madrid’s training ground after leaving the family home.
Luccon reportedly continues to reside in the family’s main residence, while her parents occupy another of Carlos’ properties.
Carlos took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to categorically deny the rumours. In a detailed post, he expressed frustration with what he described as "false and damaging stories."
"In recent days, I have become aware of false and damaging stories circulating about me and my family. While I value privacy, I feel compelled to address the baseless rumours about my living situation. These fabricated stories are entirely false and seem designed to generate clicks," Carlos wrote.
"I remain at a private residence, supported by members of my family. My legal team is reviewing these claims and will take appropriate action. I ask for privacy regarding personal matters and thank those who continue to support me during this time."

Carlos' personal life has frequently made headlines. In a 2015 interview with Spanish journalist Josep Pedrerol, he revealed that he has 11 children with seven different women.
"Now I live with Manuela, and I have several around. I have seven in Brazil. I have one in Mexico, one in Hungary who lives in Alicante, and the others live in Brazil," he shared.
Three of Carlos’ children—Roberta, Giovanna, and Roberto Carlos Jr.—were born during his first marriage to Alexandra Pinheiro.
Others, including Rebeca, Christopher, and Carlos Eduardo, were born out of wedlock.
His son Christopher, now 22, previously played for CD Canillas, a Real Madrid feeder club, in hopes of following in his father’s footsteps.

Despite a colourful personal life, Carlos’ strongest bond has been with his former teammate Ronaldo Nazário.
In a memorable interview with the late Grant Wahl, Ronaldo quipped: "I slept more in the same room with Roberto Carlos in training camps than with all the women I’ve been with in my life!"
