Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is celebrating his 80th birthday this Tuesday, January 7.
The milestone was met with widespread congratulations on social media from supporters, politicians, and citizens alike.
Born on January 7, 1945, in Maseno, Raila is the son of the late Jaramogi Oginga Odinga and Mary Juma Odinga.
The ODM party extended its best wishes, praying for God’s grace and blessings, and success in all his endeavours.
Even as Raila marks his 80th birthday, there are local and international celebrities whom he shared his birth date with.
Locally, Veteran journalist Jeff Koinange has just turned 59 years old.
