He was aged 50.
The real name Peter Ramogi Moro was a revered Nairobi hairstylist with a flair for creativity and an unmatched personality.
Rams rose to prominence as one of the region’s most sought-after stylists. His salon, Rams Studios in Westlands, became a hub for Nairobi’s elite, attracting a distinguished clientele that included Presidents, Governors, top government officials, and business leaders.
Among his regular clients were Mike Sonko, Adan Duale, and former Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Abdullahi “Farmajo.”
Known for his artistic vision and warm demeanour, Rams was celebrated for his ability to create hairstyles that captured his clients' personalities and lifestyles.
Rams is survived by his wife, Eva, and their three sons, who are currently in high school in Nairobi.
Eva, who remained steadfast by his side during his treatment in India, described him as a "positive cancer warrior who faced his final moments with grace and courage."
He will be laid to rest on Saturday, November, 23.
