The state address comes three weeks after the swearing-in of  Kindiki

Upon his arrival, as per the ritual, he inspected the guard of honour.

Ruto is expected to use the State of the Nation address to take stock of his development agenda for Kenya.

He is expected to address the issues surrounding the new Social Health Insurance Fund, agriculture and the economy of the country.

Ruto is also expected to give a scorecard of his administration.
