Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu have had an intriguing, on-and-off relationship over the years, filled with chemistry, collaboration, and public displays of affection.
Their relationship has often left fans guessing about whether they're simply close colleagues or genuinely romantically involved.
The duo first sparked dating rumours in 2021, as they frequently shared affectionate posts and collaborated on several songs, including their hit “Mtasubiri,” which highlighted their undeniable on-stage connection.
Since then, their performances have often featured Diamond publicly hinting at wanting a deeper commitment with Zuchu, especially by asking her to bear him a child.
This past weekend, while performing "Mtasubiri," Diamond once again posed the question, “Utanizalia?” (“Will you bear me a child?”).
Zuchu responded with her usual composure, reminding him that she would only consider it after marriage. "Utanioa lini, ndio nitakuzalia," she replied, which translates to, "When you marry me, I will get your child."
Her response drew praise from fans who commended her maturity, particularly given Diamond’s reputation for high-profile relationships with prominent women, including Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan, Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu, and Kenyan singer Tanasha Donna.
