Kenyan musician Wyre has revealed that he lost his mother last week and has already laid her to rest. The singer said this on his Instagram when giving his gratitude to family and friends who stood with him.

"I would like to thank all our friends and family who stood by us these past few days. Thank you all for the calls, the emotional and financial support, the handling of durtes when we were overwhelmed and all your prayers."

He revealed that they laid his mother to rest on Thursday in a befitting send off "and for that, our family will forever be grateful. God bless you all," he concluded
