The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced power interruptions in several parts of the country on Tuesday, October 22nd.
In a statement released on Monday evening, the company mentioned that the power interruptions are due to maintenance work that will be carried out on the power stations.
The counties that will be affected by the interruptions are below:
NAIROBI COUNTY
Muthaiga (Partial)
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Areas affected: Utalii Hotel, Mathari Hospital, Muthaiga Golf Hotel, Muthaiga Primary School, Muthaiga Police Residence, Mathari Secondary, Mathari Brilliant Centre Academy, and surrounding customers.
Roysambu (Partial)
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Areas affected: Kamiti Road, Jacaranda Estate, Roysambu Primary School, and surrounding customers.
Zimmerman, Githurai 45
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Areas affected: Zimmerman, Githurai 45, Farmers Choice, Kahawa Barracks, BATUK, and surrounding customers.
BUNGOMA COUNTY
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Areas affected: Sipala, Lwile, Mihuu, Furoi, Mikuuva, Magemo, Mitukuyu, Sinoko Dispensary, Lutacho, Manafwa, Lukusi, Bakisa, Mabele, Lugulu Water, Webuye Ongwendivah, Webuye, Malaha Salvation Army, and surrounding customers.
KAKAMEGA COUNTY
Time: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM Areas affected: Butere Girls, Butere Boys, Buchenya, Elukala, Eshisisia, Shinyalu, Buboko, Ibokolo, and surrounding customers.
KITUI COUNTY
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Areas affected: Kyalilini Booster, Museve Market, Katia, Mutulukuni, Kwa Mukwa, Vinda, Makaani, and surrounding customers.
