Ugandan Presidential aspirant Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has revealed that slaps from a police were the reason why he ventured into the political world.

Wine said he received several slaps from a police officer years ago when he was hanging out with friends.

He explained in an interview that he was given even more slaps after asking for an explanation to be given, revealing that the cop also pointed a gun at him before he was rescued by the facility's security team.

"They told me never to show off again and commanded me to get back into my car and go. I got back into my car very sad. Nubian Li always talks a lot but that day, he was very quiet when he got out in Kamwokya to pick up his car at the studio," he said

He added "But it changed my thinking a lot and I vowed never to be silent about injustices ever again. I started singing about it and they began questioning me; I got into a lot of problems. All these people like Gen. Salim Saleh, and Muhoozi were my friends because they loved stars so much," he said
