The Linda Mwananchi Movement on Friday unveiled its party headquarters in Nairobi's upmarket Lavington area.
The ceremony, presided over by party leader Edwin Sifuna, was attended by several United Opposition principals and other political allies.
Those present included DAP-K leader Eugene Wamalwa, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua, Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and several other opposition-aligned leaders and MPs.
The launch marks a significant milestone for Sifuna as he positions himself for consideration as the opposition's joint presidential candidate against President William Ruto in the 2027 General Election.
Sifuna founded the Linda Mwananchi Movement following his fallout with ODM over the party's support for Ruto's re-election bid.
Kalonzo disclosed that opposition leaders were still negotiating and would unveil their joint presidential candidate on November 13, 2026.
