The Equitable Party has begun the process of changing its name to Linda Mwananchi Movement, the political vehicle associated with Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna. The Registrar of Political Parties says it has reviewed the required documents and initiated the process of gazetting the proposed change. The new name has not yet been formally finalised.
