Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen says more than 4.6 million Kenyans aged between 15 and 65are using at least one drug or substance. Citing NACADA data, CS Murkomen says the Coast region remains among the hardest hit, with Mombasa recording the country's highest rate at 34-point-4 percent. He says the government is combining enforcement with prevention, treatment and rehabilitation to address substance abuse.
