The Grand Finale is scheduled for Karen Country Club on November 20, with golfers at Ruiru seeking to earn their tickets through competition in the Overall Gross, Men’s Gross, Ladies’ Gross, Division Two Men, Division Two Ladies, Division Three and Junior categories.
The Ruiru leg comes a week after the series visited Kiambu Golf Club, where Caesar Mugo emerged the Men’s Gross winner with a score of 83 gross to secure his place in the Grand Finale.
Wanjiru Kamau claimed the Ladies’ Gross title with 76 gross off a handicap of four, while Agnes Nyawira took the Overall title with 42 points. Kelvin Nganga won the Men’s Division Two category on 38 points after beating Patrick Gakure on countback, while Rose Kabutha triumphed in the Ladies’ Division Two category with 40 points.
Alex Kamau won the Junior category with 35 points. Meanwhile, the 2026 NCBA Railway Invitational will headline this weekend’s Kenya Amateur Golf Championship (KAGC) action at Kenya Railways Golf Club from today, Friday, through Sunday.
The tournament has attracted 89 elite amateur golfers who will compete for a Sh500,000 prize purse and crucial ranking points. Defending champion Isaac Makokha will be seeking to retain his title on home turf, but faces a strong field led by Muthaiga’s Jay Sandhu.
Sandhu currently tops the KAGC Order of Merit with 1,535 points, ahead of John Kamaisi of Nakuru on 1,082 and Nyali’s Adel Balala on 744. Other leading players in the field include Elvis Muigua, Eugene Wafula, Rwanda’s Jean D’Amour Hitayezu and promising junior Junaid Manji.
Meanwhile, Limuru Country Club will host the latest leg of the U.S. Kids Golf Nairobi Local Tour on Sunday, with boys and girls aged five to 18 expected to compete in age-based divisions.
The tournament, organised in partnership with U.S. Kids Golf and the Junior Golf Foundation Kenya with support from NCBA, seeks to give young golfers valuable competitive experience while nurturing their development.
The juniors will also be chasing Priority Status points, which could open the door to qualification for international U.S. Kids Golf events, including the Regional Invitational and U.S. Kids Golf Regional Championship.
