KEBS Managing Director Esther Ngari says African countries have agreed to harmonize standards to boost intra-continental trade, enabling goods to move across borders without repeated retesting. Speaking at the 32nd ARSO General Assembly Gala Dinner, she urged Africa to trade more within itself rather than rely on European imports. Ngari added that free movement of goods and people would eliminate trade barriers and strengthen economic ties across the continent.
