‘I’m single’
In an Instagram Stories post, Njambi said she wanted to make her position clear after repeatedly describing herself as single.
She claimed that Okoth knew the two were not on good terms but continued sharing her photos online, which she accused him of using to create a different impression of their relationship.
“I want to make it very clear... I’m not playing with the I’m single captions/videos.”
She added that she wanted to live her life peacefully and suggested that she would explain more about what had happened once she returned from Dubai.
The comments have placed the spotlight back on a relationship that has experienced several public ups and downs.
A relationship under scrutiny
Njambi and her ex share a young daughter and have previously spoken publicly about their family life.
In June, Njambi was still referring to him as her husband while discussing family planning.
She said they were planning to visit a clinic to have her contraceptive implant removed, as part of their plans around having another child.
That picture changed in August when Njambi began posting messages suggesting that she was considering leaving the relationship.
She later clarified that she had reacted emotionally following a hospital visit and said she had not officially walked away from the marriage at that point.
From reconciliation to another fallout
The couple have previously faced relationship controversy, including cheating allegations involving her ex.
The allegations were followed by periods in which the pair appeared to reconcile and continue with their relationship publicly.
Njambi's latest comments, however, are more direct.
Rather than simply hinting at problems, she has now described herself as single and said she and her child's father are not on good terms.
Her decision to share photos with another man during the Dubai trip has also fuelled interest online, although Njambi herself described him as her date or bestie rather than confirming a new romantic relationship.
