Lynne Njihia is letting fans into her world, one carousel post at a time.
The model and content creator took to Instagram this week to share a heartfelt series of posts celebrating what she called the sweetest parts of full-time motherhood.
A Grateful Heart
Lynne opened the series by acknowledging just how rare her situation is.
"I'm so grateful that my daughter's dad has enabled me to be a full-time stay-at-home mum."
She explained that being fully present for her daughter during these early years has never been something she takes lightly.
"I never take that privilege for granted."
Building a Bond, One Ordinary Moment at a Time
For Lynne, the small, everyday moments matter most. She described spending time with her daughter as an investment in their future friendship.
"I believe the bond and friendship we'll have as she grows are being built right now, in these ordinary little moments."
Her hope, she said, is simple.
Motherhood as Identity
Lynne didn't shy away from addressing the criticism some mothers face for centring their lives around their children.
"I've seen women receive backlash for making motherhood the centre of their lives, but I don't understand why that should be something to apologise for."
She stood firm in her choice, framing it as a reflection of what she values most right now.
"I'm raising a whole human being."
Still Her Own Person
Despite dedicating herself to motherhood, Lynne was clear that she hasn't lost herself in the process.
"I'm still a paid content creator. I still travel, see my friends and enjoy my own life."
She credited the flexibility of her work for allowing her to balance both worlds.
"My work gives me flexibility, and I love that it doesn't take much time away from my daughter."
No Judgement for Other Mothers
Importantly, Lynne was careful to note that her choice isn't a verdict on anyone else's.
"This is MY version of motherhood — not the only right version."
"A woman choosing her career isn't a worse mother. A woman choosing to stay home isn't wasting her potential."
Lynne first entered the public eye through her relationship with comedian Eric Omondi, with whom she shares her daughter, born in 2023. The couple confirmed their split in April 2025.
Since then, Lynne has continued to build her platform as a content creator, previously opening up about her postpartum depression journey and the pressures of parenting in the public eye.
