Radio Jambo presenters Joseph Ogidi (Gidi) and Jacob "Ghost" MuleeRadio Jambo has emerged as the most listened-to Swahili radio station in Nairobi, commanding an 11.45 per cent audience share, according to the GeoPoll Kenya Radio Audience Survey for July 2026.
Citizen Radio ranked second with an 11.02 per cent share, followed by Radio Maisha at 8.41 per cent.
Milele FM recorded a 5.11 per cent share, while Radio 47 had 0.57 per cent of the Nairobi radio audience.
Nationally, Radio Jambo has gained 2 million listeners compared to the number it gained in the last poll; it now commands 16 million listeners.
According to the survey, Radio Jambo has a cumulative national audience of 16.02 million listeners, making it the second-most listened-to radio station in the country.
Citizen leads the national rankings with 19.68 million listeners, and at number three is Classic 105, which has 15.61 million listeners.
Radio Maisha ranks fourth with 14.93 million listeners, while Milele FM has 10.85 million listeners.
KBC English Service recorded 9.55 million listeners, followed by Kiss FM with 9.47 million, Kameme with 9.04 million, Radio 47 with 8.98 million and Radio Taifa with 8.09 million.
The figures place Radio Jambo among Kenya’s leading radio stations nationally, with its audience continuing to grow compared with the previous survey.
Radio Jambo is a Radio Africa Group station known for its Swahili-language programming, including news, sports, talk shows and audience-driven discussions.
