NCIC Chairperson Kepha Omae has warned leaders summoned by the commission to appear voluntarily before further legal action is taken against them. Speaking when Mukurweini MP John Kaguchia’s appeared before the commission, Omae further urged Kenyans and political leaders to take personal responsibility for promoting peace and national unity, calling on them to shun hate speech, ethnic mobilization and divisive rhetoric as the country approaches elections.
