“This afternoon, I attended the burial of the late Patrick Kiogora at Abogeta Village in South Imenti, Meru County, where I joined his family, friends and community in paying our final respects,” he said. 
He said he was accompanied by PNU Party leader Peter Munya, Meru Senator Kathuri Murungi and other local leaders during the burial ceremony.
"I was joined by PNU Party Leader Hon. Peter Munya, Meru Senator Hon. Kathuri Murungi and other local leaders as we stood in solidarity with the family during this solemn moment,” Matiang’i said.
