Kenya Health Summit at KICC
President William Ruto is presiding over the Kenya Health Summit at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.
The two-day summit, held under the theme “Reform Delivered, Health as a Right,” brings together key stakeholders to assess progress in Kenya’s health sector and discuss priorities for improving access and quality of care.
The discussions are expected to cover digital health transformation, efficiency at KEMSA, expansion of specialised healthcare services and the onboarding of more than 31 million Kenyans onto the Social Health Authority (SHA).
The summit is also focusing on Primary Healthcare, maternal and newborn health, and the role of Community Health Promoters in bringing health services closer to households.
