The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) and the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) have announced vacancies for two senior positions.
KeNHA is seeking to recruit a Deputy Director, Human Resource Management, while EPRA is looking to fill the position of Director General.
KeNHA said the Deputy Director, Human Resource Management position is on permanent and pensionable terms.
The position is graded at KeNHA Grade 3 and carries reference number KeNHA/DD-HRM 11/2026.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Authority’s human resource management functions.

The application deadline is September 8, 2026, at 5 pm.

Meanwhile, EPRA has advertised the position of Director General, under reference VA/1/8/2026.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and direction to the energy sector regulator in line with its strategic plan.
The Director General will oversee the technical and economic regulation of the electricity, petroleum, and renewable energy sectors, as well as the regulation and supervision of upstream petroleum operations and infrastructure.
Applicants must be Kenyan citizens with a bachelor's degree in engineering, physical sciences, law, finance, environmental studies, economics or energy from a recognised university.
Candidates must also have at least seven years of senior-level management experience, including at least two years' experience in petroleum and energy.
Professional qualification and membership in a professional body in good standing are also required. A master's degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
The EPRA Director General will be appointed on a three-year contract, renewable once for a similar period subject to satisfactory performance and mandatory retirement age.
Interested candidates must submit their applications and relevant certificates by email to EPRA by September 9, 2026, at 5 pm.
Both institutions said only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
Applicants are also required to meet the leadership and integrity requirements under Chapter Six of the Constitution.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to present clearance certificates from institutions including the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, Kenya Revenue Authority, Higher Education Loans Board, Credit Reference Bureau and the Kenya Police.
Applicants for the KeNHA position will not be required to provide the clearance documents at the application stage.
Canvassing for either position will lead to disqualification.
