Speaking during the ordination and installation ceremony at Prayers Beyond Boundaries Temple in Ngara, Nairobi, Bishop Omae said Christian leadership is a solemn responsibility that requires complete dependence on God for guidance, provision, wisdom and grace. Rev Ngunjiri will also be the apostolic leader at PBB Ministries.

Bishop Omae, who officiated the ceremony, urged Rev Ngunjiri to remain committed to prayer and the study of Scripture, proclaim the Gospel without compromise and lead by example in the church, family and wider community.

Co-operative Bank Group Chief Executive Officer Dr Gideon Muriuki described the occasion as an important spiritual and family milestone, celebrating the journey that has culminated in Rev Ngunjiri’s ordination.

Dr Muriuki reflected on the importance of faith, family and perseverance in answering God’s call, noting that significant milestones in ministry are built over time through commitment, sacrifice and the support of family and the wider church community.

He acknowledged the role of those who have walked with Rev Ngunjiri throughout his journey, emphasising the importance of standing together as a family and supporting one another in moments of both challenge and celebration.

Dr Muriuki also underscored the responsibility that comes with Christian service, noting that ordination should be viewed not simply as a title or position but as a commitment to serve God and His people with humility, responsibility and integrity.

He congratulated Rev Ngunjiri on the milestone and encouraged him to remain grounded in faith while continuing to serve the congregation and the wider community.

Dr Muriuki, accompanied by Joyce Muriuki, later joined PBB founder Evangelist Lucy Wangunjiri in cutting a cake to mark the occasion.

Rev Ngunjiri expressed gratitude for the support he has received throughout his ministry journey, paying tribute to his wife, family, church leaders and friends for standing with him through challenging and rewarding seasons.

He said the ordination represented not only an honour but also a renewed call to greater service and responsibility.

Evangelist Lucy Wangunjiri described the ordination as a significant milestone for both Rev Ngunjiri and the congregation, urging members to embrace a new season of greater faith, service and spiritual growth.

The ceremony brought together religious leaders, scholars, public officials, family members and congregants.
