Brandon Jackson, also known asAshton Hall Fitness influencer and entrepreneur has opened up about his approach to dating, revealing that shared Christian faith is a non-negotiable quality he looks for in a future partner.
The fitness influencer and entrepreneur made the remarks during an appearance on the Funky Friday podcast, where he discussed relationships, faith and why he has remained single since high school.
‘A girl who loves the Lord’
When asked what kind of woman he is attracted to, Jackson’s answer was straightforward.

The host then asked whether he could date someone who did not share his Christian faith.
Jackson said friendship would not be a problem, but a romantic relationship would cross a line he is unwilling to blur.
“We could be friends for sure… I’m not going to share a life with them when I know we don’t have the same beliefs.”
He explained that while Christians should be able to build friendships with anyone, choosing a life partner requires spiritual alignment because faith would be central to the relationship.
Single since high school
The content creator also surprised listeners by revealing that he has not been in a relationship since high school despite his popularity online.
Jackson, who said he is now 30, explained that although he has gone on dates over the years, he has not committed to another relationship.
“I’ve been single since high school… I’ve dated, I’ve been on dates, but I haven’t been in a relationship since high school.”
Speaking about his former girlfriend, he said they lost contact after their split more than a decade ago and that she has since moved on and started a family.
Friendship before romance
Jackson also shared his philosophy on how relationships should begin, saying he is not the type to approach women with compliments about their appearance.
Instead, he believes genuine friendship should come first.
“I feel like a relationship should be built off of a friendship.”
Although he admitted that most interactions begin through social media because he is rarely out in public, he said he is usually drawn to women who are passionate about areas such as business, fitness and personal growth rather than physical appearance alone.
Looking ahead to marriage
Jackson said one of his biggest ambitions is to build a strong family, adding that marriage has been among his top life goals since he was a teenager.
He explained that his private approach to relationships is intentional and is meant to protect his future partner from unnecessary public attention.
“My biggest goal in life, top three, is to be married and have a dope family.”
