The National Assembly Budget Committee has urged government ministries, departments, and agencies to submit realistic budget proposals aligned with national revenue projections. Speaking at the FY2027/28 medium-term budget launch at KICC, chairperson Sam Atandi called on sectors to prioritise programmes based on impact and alignment with national priorities. He urged them to focus on initiatives that create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and improve livelihoods.
