President William Ruto has welcomed a report on proposals for Kenya’s long-term national transformation. The report, prepared by a team of economic scholars led by governor Anyang Nyong’o,sets stage for a successor to Vision 2030, which has guided national planning and economic policy since 2008. It highlights three key pillars: delivery of world-class education, strengthened food security, and accelerated growth through technology and innovation to drive sustainable economic progress.
