Vihiga Governor Wilber Otichillo has been appointed ODM patron in the county, replacing Senator Godfrey Osotsi. The changes, announced during a delegates meeting, were described as a clean-up exercise targeting officials accused of failing to advance party interests. Members aligned to rival camps linked to Edwin Sifuna and Osotsi were expelled, with interim officials installed to take over their roles.
